The Bupa 30th Great North Run will be broadcast live on BBC ONE from 09:30 to noon, switching to live on the red button from noon to 13.40 before reverting back to live on BBC ONE from 13.40 to 14.25. There will be a highlights programme on the same day from 22.50 on BBC TWO.
BBC Radio 5 live will be presenting 4 days of programmes from the North East as part of the Bupa 30th Great North Run weekend with 35 hours of live programming from the region in what is going to be 5 live's biggest ever domestic outside broadcast.

Bupa 30th Great North Run coverage starts in 5 live Breakfast from 6am – with a special show from 9.30am – midday with all the action live from the big race.
